Portsmouth striker David Nugent isn't interested in a move to Blackpool.

The Mirror says Nugent is ready to snub Blackpool boss Ian Holloway by signing a new contract at Fratton Park.

Holloway is lining up a January raid for Nugent, 25, who has scored six goals this season.

Former England striker Nugent said: ?The gaffer has mentioned that he wants me to stay and we have had talks but nothing has come of it yet.

?I?ve got to speak to my agent and see what is happening. Then I can get back to the club and we can sort out what?s going on.?
