Di Matteo delighted how West Brom players have responded to his management

Aston Villa
West Bromwich Albion

West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo is pleased with the way his players have responded to his management style.

Di Matteo has taken the Baggies up at first attempt and now they look a safe bet to stay in the Premier League this season.

On his relaxed approach, he told Absolute Radio: ?I don?t know, it?s not something? that?s just how I am, you know. I guess if I wasn?t winning or if we weren?t winning games then I would probably get criticised for that, but because we?ve won a couple of games I guess it?s a positive aspect of my personality. It?s just the way I am and I try to stay calm to be able to make the right decisions on the sideline.

Despite being laid back Matteo still feels the pressure.

He added: ?Yeah, we?re all under pressure, absolutely, yeah. You know, every club has its own expectations, and therefore you?re going to be under pressure. I just try to learn every day, and in every game there are team players, and try to become a better manager.?
