Tottenham defender Michael Dawson was pleased with his comeback in the draw with Chelsea.

In a cracking derby encounter, Roman Pavlyuchenko fired Spurs ahead in the first half before Didier Drogba lashed home Chelsea?s equaliser in the 70th minute.

?We?re disappointed not to win the game, simple as that,? Dawson told the club's website. ?Had we ended up losing, it would have been devastating.

?We felt comfortable at 1-0 up, but they?ve world-class players and there is no doubting that.

?We didn?t feel under too much pressure or that they?d created too many chances. But they equalised when the ball went over my head, Drogba let rip and it ended up in the back of the net.

?We then conceded the penalty and Gomes is the hero.

?Maybe two or three years ago we would have been happy taking a point against Chelsea.

?This time we went into the game believing we could win it and we?d have been a point behind them if we had won.

?We?re still in the mix though. It?s not the worse result in the world, but it could have been better.?
