Malaga midfielder Juanmi hailed Spain's spirit in winning the U19 European Championship.
Spain defeated the Czech Republic in the final.
"We were a group, we were all united and in everyone's mind was the thought of winning this tournament," he told the Spanish Football Federation's official website. "We knew that the Czech Republic were a really complicated opponent.
"They were twice in the lead but we had the patience to turn the match around on both occasions.
"The coach told us to play with calm, that if we played like we knew the chances would come, and it was like that."
