Stoke winger Pennant: I want to help Ireland reach World Cup
Stoke City Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant is eager to taste international football.Pennant has 24 England Under-21 appearances but has never won a senior cap.The 28-year-old revealed earlier this month that he was eligible to play for the Republic of Ireland through his grandfather.He said: "I'd like to play international football, whether it's with England or Ireland."Who's to say Ireland can't get to the World Cup?
