Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean admits their January transfer plans have been slow going.
Kean is yet to add to his squad so far this winter market.
He admitted to the Rovers website: "It is still ongoing unfortunately, we've not managed to get anybody in over the last couple of days. It has been a bit slow but hopefully we'll get somebody in early next week.
"I think, as it always is at this time of year, that people are trying to hold onto their better players, and there's been a bit of resistance so we've just slowly chipped away at it and just go about the process the right way.
"We've got a good budget to work with and I think it will be one of the best budgets when compared to the band of teams that are in and around us at the moment.
"We'll probably be, because of the injury crisis that we have, a little more busy than the other teams around us."
