West Ham midfielder Hitzlsperger: Green, Noble are fine

Bolton Wanderers
West Ham United

West Ham United midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger says there's was no fallout from the on-field bust-up between Robert Green and Mark Noble.

The pair clashed during defeat to Bolton Wanderers.

Green became embroiled in an animated exchange with Noble that led to the midfielder appearing to punch his team-mate in the chest.

Green responded by wrapping an arm round Noble's neck, and calm was only restored after Matthew Upson stepped in and pulled the pair apart.

Hitzlsperger revealed that Green and Noble had at least made their peace, saying: "I saw that something was going on, that an argument developed, but they shook hands in the dressing room, and it is all forgotten."
